Tracking Subject Hours

In each schedule in Docendo, you get an updated overview of the hours of teaching for each class. This can both be done with a comprehensive overview of all subjects for the given Group/Grade, but also seen for each subject individually.

Overview:

The overview includes both hours for each individual subject with potential missing hours to plan and hours of planned and achieved within each subject in each period of time.

1) Find the schedule for the class

2) Click “hours count” on the upper left side

3) Choose the timeframe which you would like an overview over

Individual Subjects:

There are two ways of tracking individual subjects. Primarily dependent on whether or not your institution has a quota of hours that must be reached or serves as a limit within the year.

If so then you can add these hours when creating/editing the individual subject.

The block belonging to the subject in the schedule will now display the remaining hours allocated to the subject in the year, counting down automatically as you add them to the schedule.

If this is not the case for your institution, simply leaving the hours blank (as 0,0) will lead the system to instead track how many hours you have placed in the schedule so far, displayed as a negative count.
The example below shows that, so far, 20 hours of Arts, 22 hours of Biology and 19 hours of Chemistry have been placed in the schedule for the year.
